Day/night weatherproof cameras

The cameras are infrared-aided, allowing them to function just as well at night. While in night vision mode, the cameras capture images up to 30 feet away. The housing for each camera is constructed to be sturdy and reliable for indoor/outdoor use.

Easy Backup with USB flash drive or hard drive

Footage is backed up on the hard drive and can be transferred to a USB 2.0. Incident footage is automatically categorized, so searching for specific clips is easy. Simply input the desired date and time range, and footage from that period of time will show up.

High quality 1/4 inch Color CMOS metal bullet cameras provide a crisp, clear, and consistent image utilizing 600 TV lines of resolution. The 6 millimeter lens allows for enhanced focus on areas that are farther away.

Maximize Continuous Recording Time

In conjunction with cutting-edge H.264 compression, the pre-installed 500GB SATA hard drive allows for up to a week of non-stop recording from all four cameras. The cameras can also be scheduled to record only at certain times. The footage is recorded at 30 frames per second, which ensures that playback streams flawlessly.

Motion Detection & Password Protection

The cameras can also be set to record only when motion is detected, saving hard drive space without glossing over important events. Ensure that false alarms do not occur by setting motion detection on only specific areas in the field of view. Passwords may be set to prevent unauthorized users from viewing your footage or changing any of your DVR settings.

View Footage on Different Screens

Connect the DVR to your PC monitor or TV using VGA or BNC cables to view captured footage on the big screen. Customize your display by choosing to either view four cameras at once on a split screen or view only one camera at a time.

Easy to install

I am a person with little understanding of electronics and this camera system was easy to install. I have a 2,500 sq ft home, one level and I had plenty of cable to reach all corners of the house. The 12 cameras was a lot, I really only needed 10 but what the heck, I installed the two extras in the front and back of the house pointing to my yard. I crawled in my attic and did it all myself and it was a breeze! The quality is great and customer service was awesome. I got stuck because I use a MAC router and it had to be configured manually. The tech came on and patched into my computer and in less than a minute I was on. It took me about 2 and a half hours to install, run all cables, and start watching, this included drilling holes and all. The easiest thing I have ever done!

This system has to be one of the best on the market! The DIY installation and high resolution of the cameras is a huge advantage over other systems. Customer service is top-notch. Loved the system so much, we have installed five so far and already ordered four more! Ideal for both the novice installers looking for a simple home surveillance system or the expert looking for an elaborate system managing several locations from a single app on your mobile phone.

Note that this particular item doesn't have a Hardifferent drive. Any SATA hard drive will work. Just plug it in and the software will install after it formats the drive. I'm really impressed with this system. Installation was a breeze. Plug it in and hook up your ethernet cable. Download the ZSight app. Comes with a mouse and on screen keyboard to configure it. Wire up your cameras and use the app to view your cameras for easy positioning. Cameras are fairly clear during the day. At night you'll want some kind of lighting to have a good picture. They do have IR leds for night vision but as with all cameras in this price range, they're not very good in total darkness. Buy a couple extension cables for the far away cameras if you think you'll need them. The DVR is small and silent. No fans that buzz all night. The phone app is kind of glitchy, but it usually works well for real time viewing. 960H quality is better than D1. Playback is easy on the DVR.
